Heather qualified FullSizeRenderin 2002 from Glasgow Caledonian University with BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and worked within the NHS for over twelve years gaining a wide experience of health conditions in a range of departments. Recent professional course qualifications have included a Diploma in Sports & Remedial Massage, successful completion of both the Orthopaedic Medicine Peripheral Module and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Foundation Course in Medical Acupuncture, as well as accreditation as a JEMS Certified Clinical Rehabilitation Practitioner.

Heather has been an active participant in sport since a young age, initially through involvement in horse riding in a variety of disciplines. In more recent years, she has expanded her sporting interests to include orienteering, kayaking, mountain biking and climbing, both indoors & on real rock.

Heather continues to regularly participate in these sports and has even been selected to represent Scotland in orienteering over the past few years. Heather has also had experience of successful competition in triathlon from sprint to Half Ironman level. This provides her with a wide base of personal experience of training & competition that provides relevant insight into the needs of clients presenting with sports injuries.
